I'm beginning to collaborate with my friend, Craig Staufenberg, who wrote a short story called "Those Still Young." I'll be illustrating the story, which is my first attempt at that kind of project. I'll probably be posting some progress sketches here along the way. Here's a taste of the protagonist, Young Orphan.

Augusta, GA

I've been staying in Augusta for the past few days with my friend Aaron. Augusta is sort of a regular town...alot of beautiful old building that are sitting empty, which is sad. But there are also plenty of really cool little shops, eateries, galleries and parks, too. It reminds me of many old upstate cities...a little decaying, but still retain some serious character. It's also like 95 degrees and humid.
